LA PORTE COUNTY, IN : 1 dead, 1 injured after motorcycle crash on Monday, 5th April 2021

One man is dead and another is injured after a motorcycle crash in La Porte County.

On Saturday, police say a group of around 60 motorcyclists were traveling south on County Road 400 West in Noble Township, preparing to turn right onto County Road 1000 South.

Nicholas Kolosci, 61, swerved left, then right, and was thrown off his motorcycle.

Robert Shepard, a 60-year-old from Valparaiso, then hit Kolosci’s motorcycle.

Shepard was thrown from his motorcycle and died of his injuries.
