San Antonio, TX : School bus driver arrested for fleeing fatal crash on early Friday, October 3, 2014

A school bus driver is being accused of causing a traffic accident that resulted in a man's death. The San Antonio Express-News reports at David L. Wayne has been arrested and will face a charge of failure to stop and render aid resulting in death. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office alleges that Wayne ran a stop sign early Friday, causing the driver of the 18-wheeler to swerve into an oncoming lane and slam head-on into a car. The driver of the car, 62-year-old Larry Salsbury, died at the scene. Wayne, who works for the Northside Independent School District, was arrested after he returned to the district's bus depot later Friday.
