Columbia, SC : 3 dead, 8 injured after speeding truck crashes in Southern California near border on Thursday, 29th November 2018

A truck that may have been speeding away from Border Patrol agents crashed, killing three people and injuring eight.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Border Patrol agents chased the truck, and authorities used a spike strip before the vehicle lost control and drove into an embankment, The crash on Thursday in Southern California also resulted in three people sustaining minor injuries and five suffering major injuries, firefighter officials said.

The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 8 by the Golden Acorn Casino, according to reports.
