Roy V. Tjongarero killed in crash Rockville Maryland

A 29-year-old Silver Spring man was killed overnight in a violent crash on Veirs Mill Road in Rockville, police say.
Continue readingMontgomery County Police say that Roy V. Tjongarero was killed after he crashed his car into a utility pole just after 3 a.m. on Veirs Mill Road near Turkey Branch Parkway.
Tjongarero was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Authorities still do not know what led to the crash.Jay Wilsons says crashes continue to happen along this stretch.
“Yesterday actually there was a three car accident right here and then maybe three weeks ago two more cars crashed right there,” Wilsons says.
Residents say in the past that's caused crashes as well.People walking the path say drivers often slam on their brakes when they notice the pedestrians and sometimes other cars don't have time to stop
