Leakesville , MS : Greene County teenager killed and two others injured after Car hit utility pole and some trees on Friday ,May 22nd 2015

A Greene County teenager was killed and two others were critically injured Friday morning when their car left a county road, hit a utility pole and some trees and overturned.

The Greene County Sheriff's Office said Haleigh Williams, 16, died at the scene of the accident on Old Highway 24.

Two passengers, a 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, were transported to the hospital.

The girl was taken to Forrest General Hospital and the boy was airlifted to a hospital in Mobile.

The Sheriff's Office said the victims were on their way to school when the accident happened.
