56-year-old Fidencio Cerda reportedly attempted to illegally pass a hay baler while driving his 1999 Ford Expedition north near Spirit Lake Casino. Cerda’s vehicle collided with a 2002 Kia Spectra, sending Gary and Lucille McLean, both 75 years of age, to St. Alexius hospital, along with Cerda.
Cerda’s vehicle then rear-ended a parked vehicle with occupants inside, one of who was also transported to Mercy Hospital. None of the injuries are reportedly life-threatening, and NDHP is invesitgating.
