Bay Lake Township, MN : Bay Lake Township crash injures Garrison woman on Saturday, 15th December 2018

A 38-year-old Garrison woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries during a crash Saturday, Dec. 15, in Bay Lake Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Taurus, driven by 48-year-old Shana Renee Petersen of Riverton, traveling eastbound on Highway 18 read-ended a GMC Envoy, driven by Shannon Lea Collins-Stiernagle, as the Envoy slowed near Division Road for a turning vehicle not involved in the crash. The collision was reported at 5 p.m. Saturday.Collins-Stiernagle was transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby for her injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and road conditions were dry.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department responded to the incident.
