Billings, MT : A driver was taken to the hospital after the person's car struck another vehicle and crash on Sunday, July 16, 2017
A driver was taken to the hospital after the person's car struck another vehicle and crashed on a curvy, low-speed section of U.S. Highway 87 East.
A Pontiac Grand Am was traveling downhill on the stretch of highway just off the Crow Reservation boundary. A Nissan Frontier was moving uphill in the opposite lane when the Grand Am drifted across the centerline, according to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Luke Knaff.
The Grand Am clipped the Frontier and ran into the guardrail, Knaff said. While the car was heavily damaged, the Frontier had only minor damage. No one in the Frontier was hurt.
The crash happened late Sunday afternoon. The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office and Lockwood Fire Rescue helped on scene.
