Dade City, FL : Spring Hill man dead, two others injured in a car crash on State Road 52 in Pasco County on Thursday, July 14, 2016

A Spring Hill man died Thursday in a car accident that left two others injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 36-year-old man, who officials did not identify, was a passenger in Toyota Corolla attempting to turn left onto Hays Road at the intersection of State Road 52 in Pasco County.

Another car, travelling westbound on SR 52, crashed into the passenger's side of the Corolla around 5:35 p.m., police said.

Both drivers were taken to Bayonet Point Medical Center with minor injuries.

The passenger in the Corolla died at the scene.
