Northeast Miami-Dade, FL : Motorcyclist crashes into Miami-Dade Transit bus on Wednesday afternoon, February 3, 2016

A motorcyclist crashed into the back of a Miami-Dade Transit bus, Wednesday afternoon, in Northeast Miami-Dade.

According to officials, the collision occurred in the area of Northeast Second Court and 183rd Street, at around 4:30 p.m. The motorcycle was reportedly smashed beneath the back end of the bus.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said that a rescue vehicle arrived at the scene where one person was transported to Jackson North Medical Center. It is unclear whether or not that person was the motorcyclist.

According to Miami-Dade Transit, the motorcyclist was at fault, and suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
