DALTON, MN : Pickup driver killed in I-94 crash with semi on Friday, 27th April 2018

The driver of a pickup died after his vehicle was rear-ended by a semi on Interstate 94 early Friday morning, April 27, at the Hansel Lake Rest Area, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The unnamed pickup driver was westbound on I-94 at about 5:41 a.m. when his vehicle was rear-ended by a westbound semi driven by Dean Thomas Hedburg, 33, of Rockville, Minn., the State Patrol reported.

Both vehicles left the roadway and entered the Hansel Lake Rest Area, which is about 14 miles east of Fergus Falls, the report said. The pickup driver died at the scene of his injuries, the report said.
