Ridgefield,CT : Single-vehicle crash sends woman to hospital on April, Sunday 29th 2018

A 70-year-old woman, a resident of Mountain Road, was taken to the hospital for evaluation after a single-car crash on Limestone Road near the intersection with Limestone Terrace on Sunday, April 29, at 5:10 p.m.

Police issued a warning to the driver for failing to maintain her lane, after her car left the roadway and crashed. She was later released from the hospital.

The force of the crash set off the car’s airbags, a report said.

Police reported no public property damage, but the car sustained extensive damage, and was towed away from the scene.
