Williamsburg, KY : Man arrested in Whitley County school bus crash Thursday afternoon on October 9, 2014

Two people are behind bars after a head-on crash with a school bus on JR Rowland Road Thursday afternoon. Deputies spent a few hours looking for a car with front-end damage after it fled the scene. Preston Rains is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, driving on a suspended license, and other offenses. Crystal Smith is charged with falsely reporting this incident. Four elementary school students were on the bus. No one was hurt.
