SHREVEPORT, LA : 1 dead after vehicle crashes into wall on Spring Street on Saturday, 19th October 2024

A man is dead after he crashed his car into a wall near downtown Shreveport.

On Saturday (Oct. 19) at 6 a.m., the Shreveport Police Department responded to a crash in the 1800 block of Spring Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a single-vehicle accident involving a white Kia that had crashed into a wall.

The Shreveport Fire Department pronounced the male driver dead. He was later identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office as 34-year-old Shacorey Hicks.
