ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC : 2 dead after multi-vehicle crash in Orangeburg County on Saturday, 21st September 2024

South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) is investigating a 5-vehicle accident that resulted in two deaths.
SCHP states the accident happened around 11:20 Saturday morning, on I-26 Westbound near the 156-mile marker.
Authorities said a Honda CRV was traveling east on I-26 near the 156 MM when it veered off the right side of the road. The Honda then overcorrected and lost control.
After overcorrecting, the Honda traveled left through the median and struck a Chrysler van head-on. Both drivers in the Honda and Chrysler died after the crash, according to SCHP
