A Wilmington man was killed in a single car accident in the 1700 block of Carolina Beach Road around 1 a.m. Monday.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, a 30-year-old man driving a Nissan Maxima crossed a median and struck a utility pole, causing the vehicle to flip several times.
Police have not identified the victim as next of kin have not been notified.
No other cars were involved and no other injuries were reported.
