Casa Grande, AZ : A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a rear-ended crash at Intersection of Maricopa Street On Tuesday, July 12th, 2016

A motorcycle rider was seriously injured when he rear-ended a vehicle Tuesday morning in downtown Casa Grande, police said.
The male rider was not wearing a helmet and lost consciousness. He was transported to Banner Casa Grande Medical Center where he was expected to be airlifted to a Chandler hospital, an officer on the scene said.
The accident occurred around 9:15 a.m. near the intersection of Maricopa Street and Second Street. Details were not immediately available.
