Anniston, AL : Man killed in crash with dump truck on Bynum Leatherwood Road on Monday morning, August 1, 2016

A Jacksonville man died Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash along Bynum Leatherwood Road, according to state troopers.

Aaron Michael Anderson, 30, was killed around 7 a.m. when the 2001 Ford Mustang he was driving collided head-on with a Mack dump truck, Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel wrote by email Monday afternoon.

The dump truck’s driver was injured, as was the driver of a 2003 Mazda pickup that swerved off the road to avoid the wreck. Both were taken to Northeast Alabama Medical Center, Daniel wrote.

The wreck occurred about 2 miles west of Anniston.
