Panama City, FL : Two people injured in car crash at 15th Street and Balboa Avenue in Bay County on Thursday morning, February 18, 2016

Two people are injured after a traffic crash in Panama City Thursday morning.

Panama City Police responded near the intersection of 15th Street and Balboa Avenue just before 4 a.m.

The crash occured right in front of Chula's restaurant near the train tracks, across from Panama City Toyota.

Officials say a car ran into a railway pole and that started a brief car fire.

Both the driver and his passenger were able to get out of the car.

One of the men suffered a broken leg and both were taken to the hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
