Las Vegas, NV : Man dead after single-vehicle crash on U.S. 95 north of Searchlight on Tuesday, February 16, 2016

A man was pronounced dead today after a crash on U.S. 95, about 15 miles north of Searchlight, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The man was driving north in a pickup truck about 12:40 p.m. when the crash occurred, Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said.

No other vehicles were involved, and investigators were trying to determine if the man died from the impact of the wreck or from a medical episode.

The man, who was the only person in the truck, will be identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Traffic was not impacted because the truck was off the road, Stuenkel said.
