Merritt Island, FL : Man dies in overnight crash at the intersection of Courtenay Parkway and Hidden Creek Drive on Sunday, 8th December, 2019 49 mins ago

A 38-year-old man was killed in an overnight crash after a pickup truck veered off a Merritt Island roadway and into a water-filled ditch, Florida Highway Patrol investigators reported.

The crash happened about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Courtenay Parkway and Hidden Creek Drive.

The Ford pickup truck was spotted about 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the ditch by an unidentified person.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers were reviewing video footage captured by cameras from the area.
