PHOENIX, AZ : Multi-vehicle collision shuts down I-17 in Phoenix on Saturday, 24th June 2023

A multi-vehicle crash has caused a closure on the southbound lanes of I-17 in Phoenix on Saturday evening.

Details on the crash are limited, but the Department of Public Safety says the collision forced crews to close the southbound lanes of I-17 at Happy Valley Road for a few hours as crews cleared the scene and investigated the crash. The road reopened around 10:15 p.m. DPS says those involved in the crash have non-life-threatening injuries.
