New Franklin, OH : Akron man dies after motorcycle crash in West Caston Road Saturday February 20 2016

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says that, at about 5 p.m. Saturday, troopers arrived at the scene of a motorcycle crash that occurred on West Caston Road, west of South Main Street.
Troopers say Michael H. Keith, 35, of Akron was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson eastbound on West Caston.
Vanessa L. Vatalaro, 48, of Akron was driving a 2005 Volkswagen Touareg. She pulled out from a private drive and was eastbound on West Caston in front of Keith.
Keith came over the crest of a hill and swerved to avoid hitting the Touareg.
Keith went off the right side of the roadway, lost control and struck a guardrail. He was ejected from the motorcycle.
He was taken to Akron General Hospital by New Franklin EMS where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Troopers say Keith was not wearing a protective helmet at the time of the crash and he did not have a motorcycle endorsement.
The Touareg was not struck and the driver was not injured.
