An accident involving three vehicles closed down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 Thursday afternoon.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred north of Casa Grande near milepost 178.
The collision resulted in one passenger vehicle rolling over to the right side of the freeway, a second car blocking the outside lane of traffic and a third car stuck in the median.
Four people were transported to local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries. The freeway was reopened at about 1:30 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
DPS is still investigating the cause of the accident.
I-10 was backed up in the same general area the day before due to a crash near it on State Route 347.
