Buffalo, NY : Buffalo man charged following crash on 198 on Thursday, August 10, 2017

A Buffalo man has been arrested in connection with a Thursday morning car crash on the 198, according to a spokesman for Buffalo Police.

Taylor Jones III, 31, was charged by authorities with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene after he allegedly struck a parked construction vehicle on the I-198 near Grant Street at around 4 a.m., according to Buffalo Police.

Both vehicles caught fire and the Buffalo Fire Department responded, the police spokesman said. Police said Jones fled the accident, but was arrested soon after.

No one was injured, according to Buffalo Police.
