Bayonne, NJ : Two men struck, killed while trying to cross northern New Jersey highway on Monday night, Nov 2, 2015
Authorities have released the names of two pedestrians who were struck and killed this week on a northern New Jersey highway.
Bayonne police say 25-year-old Sabore Worrell and 20-year-old Tyler Sellers, both of Bayonne, were crossing Route 440 on Monday night when they were struck by a car.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the driver, a Bayonne resident, remained at the scene. No charges have been filed so far, but authorities say the accident remains under investigation.
State police say 16 pedestrians have been killed by motorists in New Jersey this year.
