Lincoln County, MO : Man dies in a two-vehicle crash in Lincoln County on Saturday afternoon, July 26, 2014

A Missouri man died in a two-vehicle crash in Lincoln County on Saturday afternoon, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Donald Rasmussen, 69, of Silex, Mo., was killed when the 2006 Toyota Tundra he was driving east on Route B at Highway 61 struck another vehicle at 3:10 p.m., causing his car to spin counterclockwise.

Rasmussen was ejected from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rasmussen failed to yield to a 2011 Columbia Freightliner driven by Todd Gibson, 55, of Sparta, Tenn., according to the highway patrol. Gibson, who was traveling north on Highway 61, was not injured. Both vehicles were totaled.
