BERKELEY COUNTY, SC : Lanes reopen on I-26 after 10-vehicle crash on Monday, 19th February 2024

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a crash involving 10 vehicles Monday afternoon sent nine people to area hospitals.
The crash happened at approximately 12:45 p.m. in the eastbound side of I-26 approximately two miles west of the Jedburg Road exit, Lance Cpl. Nick Pye said. The crash shut down the eastbound side of the interstate for a couple of hours but as of before 4:30 p.m., all lanes had reopened.
SCDOT cameras showed a backup of several miles earlier in the afternoon.
