Durant, OK : One killed in collision on Highway 78 and Rodeo Road on Friday night, May 13, 2016

A vehicle collision occured Friday night, May 13, at Highway 78 and Rodeo Road. A pickup truck rear ended a four door car. Both the 50 year old driver and passenger of the car were flown to Plano Texas and hospitalized. The driver of the pickup was taken by ambulance to Alliance Hospital in Durant with minor injuries. The male driver of the vehicle, Allen Estabrook of Wade, Oklahoma died Saturday from injuries sustained in the crash. His passenger Mary Vandenburg is still in ICU in a Plano Texas hospital.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash. It is not known if alcohol played a role in the collision.
