Pensacola, FL : Pensacola man killed in motorcycle crash on Nine Mile Road on Thursday, 28th November, 2019

A 57-year-old Pensacola man was killed after a vehicle collided with his motorcycle Thursday on Nine Mile Road, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

A 2001 Mazda Tribute, driven by 24-year-old Tyler Kendrick, of Pensacola, was stopped at a stop sign facing north on Bowman Avenue, south of the Nine Mile Road intersection, at about 6:16 p.m.

Phillip Woodruff, 57, of Pensacola, was traveling eastbound on Nine Mile Road approaching the Bowman Avenue intersection on a 2019 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle.

Kendrick failed to yield the right of way, traveling into the intersection and colliding with the motorcycle, fatally injuring Woodruff, according to FHP.

Charges are pending investigation.
