Two people died in a Sunday morning single-vehicle crash in Dallas, NC, according to officials.
NC Highway Patrol say a man and woman, later identified as Michael and Sherry Ivicsics from Bessemer City, were killed when their car went airborne and hit a tree on Dallas Spencer Mountain Road.The crash reportedly happened just before 10 a.m. Sunday morning. The road was closed for hours after the crash as emergency crews tended to the scene.The car was speeding before it crashed, according to troopers. Investigators have ruled out weather as a factor.
