Tonopah, AZ : Three people dead and another injured in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 10 in Tonopah on Friday night, June 17, 2016
Authorities say three people are dead and a fourth has been injured in a wrong-way collision in Tonopah.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the crash happened Friday night on Interstate 10.
According to troopers, a man fleeing a hit-and-run scene was traveling at speeds more than 100 mph
He then allegedly caused a wrong-way crash while heading eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-10.
Troopers say the fleeing driver died at the scene as well as the female driver and female occupant of the other vehicle. A third occupant is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Their identities are being withheld pending family notification.
