Memphis, TN : Two people injured in crash on I-240 south of Interstate 40 Sunday, October 2, 2016
Two people were injured in a crash on Interstate 240, just south of Interstate 40.
Police said they found a vehicle which seemed to have hit a metal barricade on I-240, then veered to right side of the interstate and to a stop against a concrete wall.
Officers said the front windshield on the passenger’s side appeared to have been hit by someone’s head and the driver’s side airbag deployed.
Investigators said they initially could not find the victims, but were told the victims were taken to St. Francis hospital on Park Avenue.
The passenger, 21, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver, 21, was in non-critical condition.
