Troy, MI : Man killed after being ejected from car on I-75 in Troy early Sunday morning, November 20, 2016

A 30-year-old man died in a crash where he was ejected from the car on I-75 in Troy early Sunday morning.

We're told the man was driving his car when he lost control and hit the guardrail. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected through the window.

The Michigan Department of Transportation reported that it happened on southbound I-75 near Crooks around 3:45 a.m. The highway was closed for some time while police investigated.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
