Monmouth County, NJ : 20-year-old motorcycle passenger killed in crash with car on Wednesday, 22nd May 2019

A 20-year-old woman was killed and the 21-year-old man driving was seriously injured when the pair struck a car while riding a motorcycle in Monmouth County Wednesday evening.

Authorities say Charles G. Romer, 21, of Carteret, and his passenger, Jessica Czajkowski 20, of Woodbridge, were on a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle northbound on Amboy Road around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

As the pair approached the intersection of Prospect Avenue, they struck a 2004 Nissan Sentra, Monmouth prosecutors said. Both Romer and Czajkowski were thrown from the motorcycle and seriously injured.
