A 20-year-old Bunnell woman was killed early Thursday morning after crashing her car into a guardrail, troopers said.

Jaylin Tilton was northbound on Old Kings Road near Princess Place Road in Palm Coast about 4:40 a.m. Thursday when her 2011 Mitsubishi Galant veered off the roadway, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

The car entered the east shoulder and struck a guardrail, troopers said.

Tilton, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.

The crash remains under investigation.
