Etna Green, IN : Two people killed when tractor trailer struck pickup truck in Kosciusko County on Saturday, September 27, 2014

Authorities say two people were killed in a fiery crash involving three vehicles in northern Indiana. Kosciusko County Sheriff's Sgt. Chad Hill says the coroner's office is working to identify the victims of the crash at the intersection of U.S. 30 and State Road 19 near Etna Green, about 35 miles southeast of South Bend. He says the bodies were so badly burned that dental records will likely be needed to identify the victims. Hill says the accident occurred about 3:15 p.m. Saturday when a semi-trailer struck the back of a pickup truck stopped at the intersection, causing it to strike another pickup truck. The pickup truck in the middle caught fire, which is the vehicle the two victims were in. Hill says the collision remains under investigation.
