Findlay, OH : Three people were hurt in a three-vehicle crash on Friday, 18th May 2018
Three people were hurt in a three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon at the intersection of Tiffin and Central avenues, Findlay police reported.
Taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital were Maria Johnson, 32, of Clinton Street; Allison Strickland, 22, of Cygnet; and Roberta Parker, 79, of Central Avenue, said Findlay Patrolman Mike Cooley.
Johnson was driving a sport utility vehicle east on Tiffin Avenue at 12:22 p.m., in the right lane, when a westbound sport utility vehicle turned left toward Central and was hit by Johnson’s vehicle, Cooley reported.
The collision caused the second vehicle to hit a car that was stopped on Central Avenue at Tiffin Avenue, Cooley said.
Johnson and her passenger, Strickland, suffered minor injuries, Cooley reported. The vehicle they were in sustained heavy damage.
The driver of the sport utility vehicle which turned into Johnson’s path, Martha Gallagher, 76, of Shinkle Street, was charged with failure to yield at a left turn, Cooley said. Gallagher was not hurt, but her passenger, Parker, was injured, Cooley said. The vehicle they were in sustained heavy damage.
The third vehicle, stopped on Central at Tiffin Avenue, was driven by Leah Bledsoe, 57, of Central Avenue, Cooley reported. She was not hurt and the car sustained light damage.
