Elk Grove, CA : Six people were injured in a three vehicle crash at Wilton Road near Grant Line Road on Friday, 2nd September, 2016

Six people suffered what were described as minor injuries in a Friday afternoon collision involving an Elk Grove Unified School District bus.

The bus, with 29 students on board, was southbound on Wilton Road, near Grant Line Road, about 3:30 p.m. when it rear-ended a Chevy Tahoe, said California Highway Patrol spokesman Officer Michael Bradley. He said the

Chevy Tahoe then struck a Honda.

None of the students on board the bus was injured, he said. The students were transferred to another bus, which took them to their destinations.

Bradley said five teenagers were in the Chevy Tahoe and they were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Honda also was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not believed to be

serious, he said.
