Monessen, PA : Teen killed in Scott crash on Saturday, 10th March 2018

A teenager was killed and others injured when they were thrown from the bed of a pickup truck that crashed over a hillside Saturday in Scott.

Cameron Skyler Arlotta, 18, of Pittsburgh died at the scene, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office.

The crash happened just after 5 p.m. Saturday on Old Bell Road. The driver lost control of the truck and it went over a hillside, according to Allegheny County police.

Arlotta was riding in the bed of the pickup truck when it crashed, police said. The driver and two others who were riding in the bed of pickup were injured and taken to the hospital. Allegheny County police reported them in stable condition Saturday.

A tow truck pulled the smashed truck covered in mud from the scene, according to WPXI-TV , the Tribune-Review's news partner.
