HENDRICKS COUNTY, IN : 1 injured, driver in custody after crashing into Plainfield home on Saturday, 16th February 2019

Police in Plainfield are investigating after a car drove into a house overnight, injuring a woman who was asleep.

Police say the incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Elm Drive when a suspected drunk driver slammed into the side of the home, leaving a gaping hole.

The woman had non-life threatening injuries, was treated at the scene and is expected to be okay.

The suspected drunk driver was arrested, but police have not released his identity.
