SUFFOLK, VA : 2 dead after fatal crash in Suffolk on Sunday, 17th September 2023

Two people are dead after a crash in Suffolk. It happened on Route 58 eastbound between the weigh station and the Chesapeake city line, police say.

According to police, it appears that one of the drivers was traveling the wrong way and collided with the other vehicle in the eastbound lane.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue tweeted about the crash at 8:20 a.m. Sunday, but said the crash happened overnight. WAVY has reached out to find out the exact time the crash was reported.
