Woman killed on Interstate 395

A woman was killed Saturday afternoon when her car went off Interstate 395 in Killingly and rolled over.

Connecticut State Police identified the woman as Janis Sniger, of Worcester.

Troopers said Sniger was in the southbound high speed lane at about 3:30 p.m. when her car struck a guardrail.

Police said the car wound up in a wooded area and overturned.

Sniger was pronounced dead at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
