HARTSVILLE, SC : Hartsville man dies in Darlington County crash on Wednesday, February 15th 2017

A 24-year-old Hartsville man died Wednesday night in a single-car crash on Clyde Road near Kelleytown Stadium.
The 9:45 p.m. crash happened when the 2004 Nissan he was driving south on Clyde Road ran off the left side of the road and into a tree, said Lance Cpl. David Jones, South Carolina Highway Patrol. The driver wasn't wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected in the crash and died at the scene, the trooper said.
Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee identified the driver as Stephen Deshon Segars.
The crash remains under investigation by the Patrol and the Darlington County Coroner's Office, Hardee and Jones said.
