Las Vegas, NV : Metro Police officer injured in two-vehicle crash in northwest valley on Wednesday afternoon, February 25, 2015

A Metro Police officer suffered minor injuries after the motorcycle he was driving collided with another vehicle this afternoon in the northwest valley, police said.

The accident happened about 2:45 p.m. on West Rome Boulevard near North Decatur Boulevard, police said.

The officer was transported to the hospital with injuries to the lower extremities, Officer Larry Hadfield said.

The driver of the other vehicle remained on scene, and it is unclear who was at fault, he said.
