Henderson, KY : A Morganfield man was killed in a one-vehicle accident at Union County On Thursday, June 23rd, 2016

A Morganfield man was killed Thursday in a one-vehicle accident in Union County.

According to the Union County Sheriff's office, a truck driven by Jonathen L. Willett, 21, entered the opposite lane of traffic on Kentucky 56 E near Kentucky 983. He apparently over-corrected sending his 2004 Ford F-150 spinning. The truck left the

right side of the road, rolling several times and ejecting Willett before coming to a stop about 60 feet off the roadway.

Emergency responders from the Whispering Meadows Fire Department and Morganfield Rescue Squad treated Willett. He was transported by ambulance to Union County Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
