One motorcyclist died in crash near San Marcos California

The motorcyclist who died Saturday after crashing into an and a pole in San Marcos was identified as Mark Robert McHose, the Medical Examiner’s Office said Sunday.
The 47-year-old of Encinitas was eastbound on Mission Road when he collided with a northbound GMC Yukon at the Pico Avenue intersection about 1:30 p.m., authorities said.
McHose was thrown from his bike, which then crashed into a light pole.

He was taken to Palomar Medical Center and died shortly after arriving.
