LEBANON COUNTY, PA : Fatal crash involving three tractor trailers shuts down stretch of I-81 in Lebanon County on Saturday, 3rd August 2024

A deadly crash involving three tractor trailers has shut down Exit 85 on I-81 north, PennDOT officials say. The area has since been cleared.

According to PennDOT, the accident occurred around 4:15 a.m. on the 87.5 mile mark of I-81. The crash involved three tractor trailers carrying unknown cargo.

Pennsylvania State Police have confirmed one fatality as the coroner was called to the scene. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
