Morristown, TN : Both drivers were injured in a crash on Wednesday, June 14, 2017
Both drivers were injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash on South Highway 321 in Cocke County.
The crash reported at 5:28 p.m. involved a car and a motorcycle.
Trooper Nathan Hall of the Tennessee Highway Patrol said Tatiana Spencer, 22, Cosby was northbound in a 2008 Pontiac. As she attempted a left turn into the Dollar General store, Charles Ledbetter, 33, Sevierville also northbound, attempted to pass the cars in front of him which had slowed. As Ledbetter moved into the southbound lane to pass, his 2004 Suzuki motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the Spencer auto.
Ledbetter who was wearing a helmet, was flown from the scene to the UT Medial Center in Knoxville. Today he is listed as being in stable condition.
Spencer, who was wearing her seatbelt, was taken by First Call EMS to the Newport Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
