Brighton, MI : Multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 76 in Brighton has shut down the highway on Wednesday, 4th December, 2019

One person died in a five-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 76 at Sable Boulevard in Brighton.

The crash happened about 3 p.m., shutting down the highway in both directions, said Trooper Josh Lewis, a State Patrol spokesman.

Several people involved in the collision were injured, including three who were taken to a hospital, Brighton Fire Rescue said in a tweet.
